Accessibility Statement

Last updated: September 20, 2026

Tasklon.com ("Tasklon," "we," "us") is committed to making this website, and every service we deliver through it, usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. Accessibility is part of the work we do for our clients, and we hold our own website to the same standard we build to for them.

This statement explains the standard we apply, where this website currently stands against it, what we have done to get here, what we know is still outstanding, and how to reach us if something on this site does not work for you.

The Standard We Apply

We design, build, and maintain this website to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). WCAG is the internationally recognized benchmark for web accessibility and is organized around four principles — content must be perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust.

Where practical, we also adopt the additional success criteria introduced in WCAG 2.2, including improved focus visibility, larger target sizes, and reduced reliance on memory and drag movements.

WCAG 2.1 Level AA is also the technical benchmark referenced by the accessibility laws that apply to us and to our clients, including:

  • United States — the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and, for federal and federally funded contexts, Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. The ADA does not publish its own web checklist; settlements, demand letters, and Department of Justice guidance consistently point to WCAG Level AA.
  • European Union — Directive (EU) 2019/882, the European Accessibility Act, which has applied to covered products and services placed on the EU market since 28 June 2025, together with the harmonized European standard EN 301 549, which incorporates WCAG Level AA for web content.
  • United Kingdom — the Equality Act 2010, which requires service providers to make reasonable adjustments so that disabled people are not placed at a substantial disadvantage.
  • Canada — the Accessible Canada Act, and, in Ontario, the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and its Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation, which set WCAG Level AA as the conformance target for covered web content.

Working to a single WCAG 2.1 AA baseline lets us meet each of these frameworks with one consistent, testable standard rather than a separate effort per jurisdiction.

Conformance Status

This website is substantially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Substantially conformant" means the site meets the Level AA success criteria across its templates and core user journeys, with a small number of known exceptions, which are listed below in Known Limitations.

We use this wording deliberately. No website of any size is permanently and perfectly conformant: content is published continuously, third-party apps change without notice, and platform updates can introduce regressions. We would rather state our position accurately and keep a dated record of the work than make a blanket claim we cannot stand behind.

What We Have Done

Accessibility is built into how this site is made, not added afterward:

  • Semantic structure. Pages use correct HTML landmarks and a logical heading hierarchy, so screen reader users can understand and navigate page structure rather than reading top to bottom.
  • Keyboard operability. Every interactive element — navigation, menus, drawers, modals, forms, filters, and the full path to a completed transaction — is reachable and operable with a keyboard alone, with no focus traps and with a visible focus indicator at each step.
  • Color and contrast. Body text and meaningful interface text meet or exceed a 4.5:1 contrast ratio against their background, and large text and non-text interface components meet the applicable Level AA thresholds. Color is never the only means of conveying information, state, or error.
  • Text alternatives. Images that carry meaning have descriptive alternative text; decorative images are marked so assistive technology can skip them.
  • Forms. Every input has a programmatically associated, persistent label. Errors are identified in text, described in plain language, and linked to the field they belong to rather than signaled by color alone.
  • Responsive and zoom-tolerant layout. Content reflows without loss of information or horizontal scrolling at 320 CSS pixels wide and remains usable at 200% text zoom.
  • Motion and media. We avoid content that flashes, and we respect the operating system's reduced-motion preference for animation.
  • No accessibility overlay. We do not use an automated accessibility widget or overlay script. Overlays do not fix the underlying code, they interfere with the assistive technology many people already use and have configured, and they have not prevented accessibility claims. We fix the source instead.

Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some parts of this website are not yet fully accessible. We publish them openly, along with what we are doing about them:

  1. Third-party embedded content. Some functionality on this site is supplied by external providers — including embedded review widgets, scheduling and form tools, chat, analytics, and payment and checkout components rendered by our hosting platform. We test these, fix what we can control, and press vendors on the rest, but we do not control their source code. Where a third-party component blocks a task, we will complete that task with you directly by email.
  2. Older uploaded documents. PDFs and other documents published before our current standards took effect may lack proper tagging, reading order, or text alternatives. We are remediating these progressively and will supply an accessible version of any document on request.
  3. Third-party video captions. Videos we produce are captioned. Videos embedded from third-party platforms rely on that platform's player and caption handling, which we do not control.
  4. Newly published content. Content published between scheduled audits may briefly fall short of our standard — most often through missing alternative text or a skipped heading level. We correct these as we find them and on report.

How We Assess This Site

Our assessment combines automated and manual testing, because automated tooling alone detects only a minority of WCAG failures:

  • Automated scanning across all page templates, run as part of our routine maintenance.
  • Manual expert review against each WCAG 2.1 Level AA success criterion.
  • Regression testing after theme updates, app installations, and significant design or content changes — the points at which accessibility most often quietly slips.

This statement was prepared on September 20, 2026, and reflects a self-evaluation carried out by Tasklon. We review this statement and re-test the site at least annually, and after any substantial change to the site.

Feedback and Requests

We welcome your feedback, and we treat accessibility reports as priority issues rather than general suggestions.

If you encounter a barrier on this website, or need information from this site in an alternative format, please contact us:

Email: help@tasklon.com Subject line: Accessibility

To help us resolve the issue quickly, please include where you can:

  • the page address (URL) where you encountered the problem
  • a description of what you were trying to do and what happened
  • the browser, operating system, and any assistive technology you were using

Our commitment: we aim to acknowledge every accessibility report within 2 business days, give you an assessment and expected timeline within 10 business days, and, while a fix is in progress, provide the information or complete the transaction for you through an accessible alternative at no additional cost.

Alternative Ways to Reach Us

If any part of this website prevents you from contacting us, requesting a quote, or completing a purchase, email help@tasklon.com and a member of our team will assist you directly. We will accept and act on requests by email that would otherwise be made through a form on this site.

Compatibility

This website is designed to work with current versions of major browsers — Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge — on desktop and mobile, used together with current assistive technologies, including screen readers such as NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, and TalkBack.

This website relies on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Core content and functionality are designed to remain available where JavaScript is limited, though some interactive features require it. We cannot guarantee the behavior of assistive technologies or browser versions that are no longer supported by their own vendors.

If You Are Not Satisfied With Our Response

We would always prefer to resolve an issue with you directly, and we encourage you to contact us first. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may raise the matter with the relevant authority for your location:

  • United States — the U.S. Department of Justice Civil Rights Division accepts ADA complaints at civilrights.justice.gov.
  • European Union — each member state designates its own market surveillance and enforcement authorities under the European Accessibility Act. Complaints are made to the designated authority in your country of residence.
  • United Kingdom — the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) provides free advice on rights under the Equality Act 2010; the Equality and Human Rights Commission is the regulator for that Act in England, Scotland, and Wales.
  • Canada — the Accessibility Commissioner at the Canadian Human Rights Commission handles complaints under the Accessible Canada Act. In Ontario, AODA compliance matters are administered by the provincial government.

Changes to This Statement

We may update this statement to reflect changes to this website, to our accessibility practices, or to the standards and regulations referenced above. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
